Hi, I am Mike from Donaghmede and I have been teaching people to drive for 3 years.

My favorite thing about being a driving instructor is the job satisfaction of taking a student from their first lesson to passing their test.
However I have to be honest and say the worst thing about being a driving instructor is meeting a new student who under estimates the effort needed to pass the test and lesson cancelations! .

I am often asked if there is anything I would change about the driving test, to be honest with you yes there is! .

When I am not teaching my students I like to spend my time coaching Hurling in Raheny GAA club, I love going to watch the Dubs in Croker. At home I like to watching football especially Newcastle United. Toooooooon!

In my free time I do a bit of presenting on music radio;on The 90s Network and on Fredomfm.ie and I also love  The King - Elvis.

If you are wondering what the best moment I have ever had being a driving instructor was, it was when a nervous student, who shall remain nameless  (Aoife), who had bad experience with a previous instructor and getting that student to pass the test with confidence.
